SECURE RIDE CO — STORE POLICIES

Last updated: 15 July 2026

These policies apply to purchases made through our website and should be read together with any product-specific instructions or conditions displayed on our website.

Nothing in these policies excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Contact Details

Business Location: Gold Coast, QLD
Returns address: Provided after your return request is approved

Please contact us before returning a product. Products returned without prior approval may take longer to process.

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

2. Our 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want you to feel confident purchasing from Secure Ride Co. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, eligible purchases are covered by our 60-day money-back guarantee.

The 60-day period begins on the date your order is recorded as delivered by the delivery carrier.

To use the guarantee, you must contact us within 60 calendar days of delivery and provide:

  • Your full name and order number;

  • The email address used to place the order;

  • A brief explanation of why you are returning the product; and

  • Photographs of the product if reasonably requested.

Products returned under the 60-day money-back guarantee must:

  • Have been purchased directly from Secure Ride Co;

  • Be returned with all essential components, keys, accessories and included parts;

  • Be reasonably clean and securely packaged for return;

  • Not have been deliberately damaged, modified or used contrary to the instructions; and

  • Not show damage beyond what would reasonably occur while assessing or trialling the product.

Opening the packaging or reasonably trialling the product does not automatically make it ineligible for the guarantee.

Where the return is accepted under the 60-day guarantee, we will refund the amount actually paid for the returned product.

Original shipping, express delivery and other delivery charges are not refundable for a voluntary return unless:

  • The product is faulty;

  • The wrong product was supplied;

  • The product was materially different from its description; or

  • The Australian Consumer Law requires those costs to be refunded.

Customers are responsible for return postage for voluntary returns made under the 60-day guarantee. We recommend using a tracked delivery service because we cannot process a return that is not received.

No restocking fee will be charged for an approved return under this guarantee.

This guarantee does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Change-of-Mind Returns After 60 Days

We will accept a return solely because you changed your mind after the 60-day guarantee period has ended.

This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, unsafe, not of acceptable quality, not fit for its disclosed purpose or does not match its description.

4. Bundles, Discounts and Promotional Purchases

Refunds are based on the amount actually paid for the returned product after discounts, promotional codes, credits and other reductions have been applied.

Where products were sold as a bundle, we may require all products included in the bundle to be returned before issuing a full bundle refund.

Where only part of a bundle is returned, the refund may be adjusted to account for the products retained by the customer, provided the calculation is clearly explained and does not limit any rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Any complimentary item supplied as part of a promotion must also be returned where the entire qualifying purchase is being refunded under the 60-day money-back guarantee.

5. How to Request a Return

To request a return:

  1. Email securerideco@gmail.com within the applicable return period.

  2. Include your order number and reason for the return.

  3. Wait for return instructions and the approved return address.

  4. Package the product securely with all required components.

  5. Send the parcel using a trackable delivery method.

Do not return products to an address shown on the original shipping label unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

We may ask for photographs or video showing the product and its condition before authorising a return. This helps us assess the issue and may allow us to resolve the matter without requiring the product to be returned.

6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Contact us promptly if your product:

  • Arrives damaged;

  • Is faulty or unsafe;

  • Is missing essential components;

  • Is materially different from its description;

  • Is not fit for a purpose you disclosed to us before purchasing; or

  • Is not the product you ordered.

You may be asked to provide proof of purchase and reasonable evidence of the issue, such as photographs or video.

The original packaging is preferred where available, but it is not required for a valid claim concerning a faulty product.

Where we confirm that a product has a fault or another covered problem, we will reimburse reasonable return postage costs. Please retain your postage receipt.

7. Australian Consumer Law Remedies

Our products come with automatic consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where there is a major failure, you may generally choose between a replacement or refund and may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Where a failure is not major, we may choose to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time. If the product cannot be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund or another remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.

A product may have a major failure where, for example:

  • A reasonable consumer would not have purchased it had they known about the problem;

  • It is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be fixed;

  • It is substantially unfit for a purpose disclosed to us and cannot easily be fixed;

  • It is significantly different from its description, sample or demonstration model; or

  • It is unsafe.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights are not limited to 60 days or two years. Depending on the circumstances, those rights may continue beyond our voluntary guarantee and warranty periods.

8. Refund Processing

Once an approved return has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will normally be submitted to the original payment method within five business days.

Your bank, card provider or payment service may require additional time to make the funds available. Secure Ride Co does not control external payment-processing timeframes.

Unless required otherwise by law, refunds will be returned to the original payment method rather than issued as cash, store credit or another form of payment.

TWO-YEAR PRODUCT WARRANTY

9. Two-Year Warranty Against Defects

In addition to the rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law, Secure Ride Co provides a two-year warranty against defects for eligible Secure Ride Co products.

The warranty begins on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser and applies only to products purchased directly from Secure Ride Co or an authorised Secure Ride Co retailer.

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal and intended use of the product.

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Secure Ride Co may:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the product with the same or a reasonably equivalent product;

  • Supply the necessary replacement component; or

  • Provide a refund.

A replacement product or component provided under this warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. This does not affect any separate rights that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Australian Consumer Law Warranty Notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This two-year warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude or limit, these rights.

11. Warranty Provider

This warranty is provided by:

Warranty provider: Secure Ride Co
Business Location: Gold Coast, QLD
Email: securerideco@gmail.com

12. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim, contact securerideco@gmail.com and provide:

  • Your name and contact details;

  • Your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase;

  • A description of the alleged defect;

  • The date the issue was first noticed; and

  • Photographs or video showing the issue, where reasonably possible.

Proof of purchase may include an order confirmation, receipt, payment record or another document reasonably demonstrating that the product was purchased from Secure Ride Co or an authorised retailer.

We may ask you to return the product for inspection. Do not send the product until we provide return instructions.

If the product is confirmed to have a defect covered by this warranty, Secure Ride Co will cover or reimburse reasonable return postage expenses. Keep copies of any postage receipts.

Where an inspection finds that the product does not have a covered defect, we may require the customer to pay reasonable inspection or return-delivery costs, but only where the customer was given a reasonable estimate of those costs beforehand.

13. What the Two-Year Warranty Does Not Cover

To the extent permitted by law, the voluntary two-year warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear that does not result from a defect;

  • Cosmetic scratches, marks, fading or surface wear that do not affect functionality;

  • Lost, misplaced or stolen keys, components or accessories;

  • Improper installation, use, removal or storage;

  • Failure to follow the supplied instructions or safety warnings;

  • Misuse, abuse, excessive force, neglect or deliberate damage;

  • Accidents, collisions, impact damage or external events;

  • Unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications;

  • Use for a purpose for which the product was not designed;

  • Exposure to conditions outside the product’s intended operating environment;

  • Damage caused by a vehicle, third party, attempted theft or criminal activity; or

  • Use of the product after a defect or safety issue becomes apparent.

These exclusions do not apply where the problem was caused by an inherent defect or where excluding the claim would be inconsistent with the Australian Consumer Law.

The warranty does not cover loss or damage to a vehicle or other property merely because a theft, attempted theft, break-in or other criminal event occurred. This does not exclude any liability that Secure Ride Co cannot lawfully exclude.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

14. Order Processing

Orders are processed on business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Estimated dispatch and delivery periods may be displayed on the product page, at checkout or in your order confirmation. These periods are estimates unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed delivery date.

During sales, product launches, public holidays or periods of unusually high demand, processing may take longer. Where we become aware of a stock delay, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers.

15. Delivery Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an address error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or been handed to the carrier.

Where an order is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, or because the parcel was not collected, we may charge the actual cost of redelivery. We will not charge additional delivery costs where the problem was caused by Secure Ride Co or its delivery provider.

16. Tracking and Delivery

Tracking information will be supplied where tracking is available.

A carrier’s tracking record may be used as evidence of dispatch and delivery, but it will not automatically prevent us from investigating a genuinely missing or incorrectly delivered order.

Where you provide an authority to leave, the carrier may leave the parcel in a location it considers suitable. Please ensure that any delivery instructions are accurate and that the nominated location is reasonably secure.

17. Delayed, Lost or Damaged Deliveries

Contact us at securerideco@gmail.com if your order:

  • Has not arrived within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery window;

  • Is shown as delivered but cannot be located; or

  • Arrives damaged in transit.

We will investigate the matter with the delivery provider and provide any remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law.

18. International Orders

Where international delivery is offered, customers are responsible for checking whether the product can lawfully be imported and used in the destination country.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, international customers are responsible for applicable import duties, customs charges and local taxes.

Australian consumer protections may apply to eligible purchases from Secure Ride Co, but customers may also have rights under the laws of their country or region.

Nothing in this section limits your rights where a product does not match its description.

23. Vehicle Compatibility

Customers should review all measurements, compatibility information and installation requirements before purchasing.

Where compatibility is uncertain, contact us before placing your order and provide the vehicle make, model and year together with any other information we reasonably request.

25. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted or dispatched.

We may cancel or refuse an order on reasonable grounds, including:

  • The product is unavailable;

  • Payment cannot be authorised;

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity;

  • A material pricing or listing error has occurred;

  • Delivery to the nominated address is unavailable; or

  • Fulfilling the order would breach a law or regulatory requirement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, but this does not affect obligations relating to orders already accepted or any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

30. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies:

  • The Australian Consumer Law;

  • Any consumer guarantee;

  • Liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or negligence where that liability cannot lawfully be excluded; or

  • Any other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Secure Ride Co is not responsible for loss caused solely by:

  • A customer’s failure to follow product instructions;

  • Continued use of a visibly damaged product;

  • Unauthorised modification or repair;

  • Use for an unintended purpose; or

  • A third party’s criminal conduct where there was no failure by Secure Ride Co to comply with a legal obligation.

Any limitation of liability applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

31. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and [STATE OR TERRITORY].

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from relying on any applicable law or bringing a claim in a court or tribunal that has jurisdiction under consumer-protection legislation.
